GENERAL TERMS

By Alyssa is a sole trader business therefore by scheduling an appointment the client is voluntarily entering into a legally binding contract whereby the conditions of service are upheld by parties involved.

DEPOSITS

In order to secure your booking with By Alyssa a $50 deposit is required. This $50 deposit is deducted from the final cost of the service. Please note that is deposit is non refundable under any circumstances.

There is a strict NO DEPOSIT - NO HOLD policy.

Please keep in mind that if you are unsure or unable to pay your deposit within 24 hours of recieving the final quote, your booking time slot is available for anyone to book.

If you still wish to make a appointment after the 24hour period you will need to re-inquire to ensure the appointment is still available before paying the deposit. If you pay the deposit after the 24 hour period without reinquiring you will not be refunded, so please ensure you always reinquire before placing the deposit.

RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATION

There is a 3 day (72 hour) policy.

This applies to all circumstances. If there is a failure to reschedule your appointment 3 days prior to the day of your appointment, your deposit cannot be transferred and you will be required to pay a cancellation fee.If you choose to cancel, your deposit is forfeited unless chosen to reschedule. If you fail to cancel 3 days prior you will also be required to pay the cancellation fee

Cancellation Fee: 72-48 hours notice incur a fee of 75% of the cost of the service booked

Less than 48 hours notice incur a fee of 100% of the cost of the service booked

The deposit can only be transferred once meaning you can only reschedule your appointment once using the same deposit. If you need to reschedule again a new deposit is required.

Store credit is also avaliable if you need to reschedule but do not have a new date selected.

Store credit is only an option if rescheduling was initiated 3 days prior to your appointment. If you choose to have your deposit transferred into store credit, it will be valid for 6 months.

Store Credit funds can only be redeemed by the person who paid the deposit.

Should unforeseen circumstances occur, By Alyssa has the right to cancel appointments. If this was to occur you will be asked to either choose to have your deposit refunded or have your apportionment placed into store credit which will include 15% off a makeup application.

If Alyssa has a price increase, your outstanding balance will be updated according to the new price.

LATE SHOWS / NO SHOWS

Please ensure that you manage your time wisely. We ask all our clients to arrive to their appointment 5-10 minutes early as I run on a tight schedule. The lack of time management affects all clients after you and late fees will be added to your remaining balance if running late.

10 minutes late: $20 is added to your outstanding balance

15 minutes + late: Your appointment is terminated as I will no longer have enough time to complete the makeup. Your deposit will also be forfeited and you will be required to pay the remaining amount of the service.

If you NO SHOW to your appointment you risk being blacklisted from By Alyssa and your deposit is forfeited as well as being required to pay the remaining amount of the service.

Clients do not qualify for refunds.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Clients are to arrive on time with their skin prepared as stated and clear of makeup. Skin needling, botox or filler at least 2 weeks prior to service. Any allergies or sensitivities are to be notified to By Alyssa prior to the date.

SURCHARGES

A 2% surcharge is added to all eftpos payments

15% surcharge are added to all public holidays

15% surcharge to all before and after hour appointments (Hours: 8:30am - 5pm)

HEALTH AND SAFETY

We ask that you do not bring anyone to your appointment. If you are being dropped off they will need to wait in the car.

Please do not bring children or babies to your appointment as you will not be able to tend to them.

If you have a flu or cold like symptoms you must not come to your appointment.

If you have a contagious infection, skin or eye infection such as warts, cold sores or rashes you cannot attend your appointment.

We also ask that phone use is kept at a minimum as I am unable to perform when this happens.

By Alyssa has complete right to refuse service to anyone who does not wish to comply to this conditions or acts in a unkindly manner
